Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
Terms and Conditions
Effective date 2 November 2026
1 Introduction and Scope
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Vauve Life mobile applications, the website at www.vauve.life and the membership services described below. The operator and membership seller is VAUVE LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED, incorporated in India (“Vauve Life”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Our address is 304, B Wing, Vimlachal Apartment, Ramchandra Lane Evershine, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064, India.
1.2 Please read these Terms before registering or purchasing. Account registration and membership purchase require acceptance of the Terms presented at the relevant step. Guest access is subject to the lawful-use provisions brought to the visitor's attention; browsing alone does not authorise a payment or optional processing of personal information. If you do not accept the applicable Terms, do not register, purchase or use the affected service.
1.3 Our Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of the membership contract. Our Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information; acceptance of these Terms is not blanket consent to processing. A plan or promotion is also subject to the conditions clearly disclosed and accepted when purchased or claimed. Applicable purchase-channel rules and mandatory legal rights take precedence where required; unpublished merchant arrangements do not override the customer's agreed rights.
1.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. This applies throughout the agreement, including to disclaimers, suspension, indemnity and refunds.
2 Definitions and Interpretation
2.1 “Account” means a registered Vauve Life user account. “Platform” means the Vauve Life applications and website. “Services” means the membership, offer-access, redemption and related support services we provide through the Platform. “Member” means an Account holder with an active paid membership or trial, except where a provision expressly refers to a paid member.
2.2 “Merchant” means an independent participating supplier of goods or services. “Offer” means a Merchant discount, coupon or deal displayed through the Platform. “Membership Period” means the purchased access period together with any extension validly credited to it. Membership access and an individual Offer's validity are separate periods.
2.3 Schedule 1 records the current membership terms. A different plan or campaign applies only if it is expressly offered with its price, period, benefits and material conditions disclosed before purchase or claim. A specific agreed purchase or campaign term governs its subject matter; the Cancellation and Refund Policy governs refund and cancellation procedure. Neither overrides clause 1.4 or permits a hidden restriction to defeat an advertised commitment.
3 Eligibility and Account Security
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract to register, obtain a trial or purchase a membership. By accepting these Terms and registering, you declare that you meet those requirements. We do not collect date of birth in ordinary registration. An eligibility declaration is not verification of age and does not override the law concerning a person's actual capacity.
3.2 Registration uses an Indian mobile number verified by an SMS one-time password (“login OTP”). We request your full name; email and a profile photograph are optional. Keep your details accurate and notify our support team at info@vauve.life if you lose control of your registered number or suspect unauthorised access. We may seek proportionate evidence before changing account access or acting on a disputed request. Profile photographs and public reviews are handled as described in clause 12 and the Privacy Policy.
3.3 Protect your device and login OTP. Do not impersonate another person, register without authority to use the number, disclose access for fraudulent use, or attempt to obtain another person's verification code. The merchant verification step used to generate an Offer coupon is separate from your login OTP; do not disclose your login OTP to merchant staff.
3.4 Guests may browse available merchant information without registering. Membership access does not establish entitlement to purchase any age-restricted or regulated product. The Services concern participating outlets in India; an Indian mobile number does not override local eligibility requirements.
4 Membership Benefits and Their Limits
4.1 Membership provides access to the Offers included in the applicable plan while they are valid and available. Users without active redemption access may view Merchants and Offers, but must obtain qualifying access before redemption. The current plan's benefits are set out in Schedule 1.
4.2 An Offer may expire before a Membership Period ends and may be available only at specified outlets, dates or hours. Unless expressly promised as part of the purchase, membership does not guarantee a particular Merchant's continued participation, coverage at every location, a minimum number of Offers or a particular amount of savings.
4.3 Merchant participation and Offer availability may change. We may update listings and remove expired, withdrawn, inaccurate or unlawful Offers. This does not authorise us to advertise unavailable benefits, retrospectively remove an agreed benefit without a lawful basis, or deny a remedy where the paid membership is materially not supplied as represented or agreed.
4.4 Membership access, coupon availability and estimated savings are not cash, a deposit or a stored monetary balance. An Offer is redeemed for the stated Merchant benefit, rather than cash from Vauve Life. This does not limit an actual monetary refund or compensation legally due.
5 Prices Payments and Renewal
5.1 The total price, applicable taxes, Membership Period and recurring nature of a purchase must be disclosed before payment. The current annual plan is described in Schedule 1. A later price or plan change applies only to the relevant future purchase or renewal after the required notice and acceptance; it does not increase the price already paid for an existing period.
5.2 Razorpay processes the current direct membership payments. Downloading the app from Apple or Google does not by itself mean that either store processed the membership purchase. Check the checkout and receipt for the actual billing provider. If a purchase is expressly offered through Apple or Google billing, that channel's applicable purchase, cancellation and refund procedures also apply. Your purchases from Merchants are separate transactions. Use a payment method you are authorised to use. A pending authorisation is not necessarily a captured payment; non-activation and duplicate captured charges are addressed in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
5.3 A paid membership renews for a further annual period unless future renewal is cancelled. Recurring collection requires valid authorisation and any authentication required by law or the billing provider. Accepting these Terms alone is not a payment mandate. The price, billing interval, renewal amount, next charge date and cancellation method must be clear before authorisation; applicable notices, withdrawal and opt-out rights remain available. Use the procedure for the provider that bills the purchase, as described in clause 5 of the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Any store-specific cancellation cut-off must be disclosed; this is not an additional Vauve Life cancellation fee or notice requirement.
5.4 An earned extension postpones the next renewal charge by its awarded number of days. Turning renewal off preserves the remaining paid period and earned extension. Cancellation procedure is set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Contact our support team at info@vauve.life promptly if the displayed charge date is incorrect or a charge is taken after an effective cancellation.
5.5 If a renewal payment fails, the unpaid renewal period does not begin merely because renewal was expected. Any retry must comply with the payment authorisation and applicable rules. We may restrict access attributable to an unpaid period after existing paid or earned access ends; a failed renewal does not retrospectively remove that existing access. We do not promise an undisclosed grace period or impose a cancellation penalty.
5.6 We may correct a genuine pricing or billing error after checking the records. We will not debit an additional amount without the required authority, or insist that you accept a materially different purchase. Any cancellation, repayment or other remedy arising from the error will be handled under applicable law and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
6 Trials Referrals and Promotional Access
6.1 The current free-trial and referral arrangements are in Schedule 1. Additional gifts, partner codes or promotional access apply only when actually offered and subject to the campaign conditions disclosed before claim. Those conditions should state eligibility, claim and use periods, the benefit awarded and interaction with existing access or renewal.
6.2 Do not manufacture referrals, refer yourself through fabricated accounts, resell unauthorised access codes, tamper with a campaign or claim a benefit by deception. We may investigate suspected abuse and withhold or reverse an award shown by the relevant evidence to be fraudulent or erroneous. We will explain a disputed adjustment and permit a support challenge where lawful and practicable.
6.3 A promotional access period or extension has no separate cash redemption value unless its published conditions expressly say otherwise. No general right to sell or transfer a reward is granted. This does not exclude a refund or other remedy arising from a paid purchase or an improperly withdrawn promised benefit.
6.4 Campaigns may be changed or ended prospectively, subject to their published terms and applicable law. A general power to amend a campaign does not permit arbitrary confiscation of a benefit already validly earned. Future campaigns are not included in an existing membership merely because they have been discussed.
7 Offer Conditions and Merchant Transactions
7.1 Read the Offer conditions and confirm material outlet-specific conditions before ordering or committing to a Merchant purchase. Conditions may concern the outlet, eligible product or service, minimum spend, availability, expiry, opening hours, reservations, exclusions and combination with other discounts. A reservation, deposit or separate Merchant charge is payable only on the terms actually agreed with that Merchant; membership does not itself make a reservation or pay the Merchant's bill.
7.2 Merchants determine whether multiple Offers may be combined on a bill, including an on-site decision where combination has not been promised. Do not assume combination is allowed. That discretion remains subject to advertised or agreed commitments and applicable law; it cannot retrospectively defeat an agreed benefit or make a misleading listing lawful.
7.3 The Merchant supplies and charges for its goods or services and is responsible for its staff, prices, invoices, licences, product safety, service quality and application of its discount. Vauve Life supplies the membership and Platform Services. Neither membership nor a Merchant listing creates a general agency, employment or partnership relationship between you, us and the Merchant. These distinctions do not remove a responsibility imposed on Vauve Life by law for its own conduct or representations.
7.4 Questions about a Merchant bill or the underlying goods or services should be raised with that Merchant. You may also contact our support team at info@vauve.life about a listing, coupon or membership complaint. A Merchant's refusal does not automatically require refund of the entire annual fee, but our own obligations remain subject to clause 15 and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
8 Redemption and Savings Records
8.1 Current Offer redemption takes place in person. At the participating outlet, the merchant verification step and the relevant bill or item amount are entered in the app and a coupon is displayed. Merchant staff use the coupon through their own system. Merchants are responsible for supplying working codes and training staff to apply them.
8.2 The amount entered is the amount before discount, including tax and excluding tips. It supports transaction information and an estimate of savings; it is not a payment instruction and does not determine whether a Merchant code works. An estimated saving is not proof of the amount actually saved. The Merchant's actual bill establishes what was charged.
8.3 The app records redemption as complete when the verification step and amount have been entered and the coupon screen is shown. This records coupon generation. It is not conclusive proof that the discount was honoured or a waiver of a complaint or remedy. Do not generate a coupon prematurely, publish it, sell it or use it to obtain an unauthorised benefit.
8.4 For an incorrect PIN or amount, accidental redemption, failed code or staff refusal, raise the issue at the outlet where practicable and contact our support team at info@vauve.life with the relevant details. A consumed code may not be capable of restoration or replacement. We will assess the records and our own obligations without treating the app event as conclusive evidence against you. Do not send login OTPs or merchant PINs in a complaint.
9 Regulated Offers and Third Party Services
9.1 Alcohol-related Offers, where lawfully available, remain subject to the applicable State's legal age, licensing, permit, advertising, location and dry-day requirements. The Merchant must perform the checks required of it. The general 18+ membership rule does not establish eligibility for every alcohol-related Offer.
9.2 A healthcare or other regulated professional Offer does not constitute professional advice, an assessment of personal suitability or a guarantee of a treatment outcome. The qualified provider remains responsible for assessment, informed consent and professional services. Do not use a discount listing as a substitute for appropriate professional advice or emergency assistance.
9.3 If you follow a link or separately engage a third-party service, that provider's terms and privacy practices govern its own activity. A link or listing alone is not an endorsement of every statement or a guarantee of that provider. We remain responsible for representations we make and obligations applicable to our selection, presentation or facilitation of the service.
10 Availability Devices and Updates
10.1 You are responsible for an appropriate device, connectivity and ordinary network charges. We may specify supported app and operating-system versions and release updates for security, compatibility or operation. Install necessary updates to continue using the affected functions. Compatibility is limited to supported versions, subject to the obligations owed for purchased access.
10.2 The Platform may be interrupted by maintenance, repairs or technical faults. We will take reasonable steps to restore affected Services and, where practicable, notify users of planned material disruption. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation; this qualification does not excuse deficient service or substantial non-delivery of a paid membership.
10.3 We may introduce, modify or retire functions, subject to clause 18 and the obligations owed for existing paid access. A replacement system or provider must not be used to defeat an accrued refund, access extension or other legal right. Permanent discontinuance is addressed in clause 13.4.
11 App Licence Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use
11.1 Subject to these Terms and applicable store rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to access the Platform and use the app and its content for their intended personal, non-commercial purposes during your lawful access. This is a licence, not a transfer of ownership. Paid membership supplies the access benefits agreed for its period; downloading the app alone does not supply paid access.
11.2 Platform software, branding and content belong to Vauve Life or the relevant licensors and rights holders. Merchant names and marks remain their owners' property. You may retain a personal copy of your transaction documents and these Terms and use normal device copies needed for authorised operation. No right to reproduce our branding for endorsement or commercial exploitation is granted.
11.3 Except where applicable law permits, do not copy, adapt, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or extract the Platform's software or protected content; remove proprietary notices; or circumvent security or access restrictions. Do not scrape Offers or personal information, overload systems, deploy malware, test access without authority, manipulate coupons or ratings, or use automated or fabricated accounts to obtain benefits improperly. This clause does not prohibit an activity protected by law, a genuine complaint or an honest rating.
11.4 Do not send unlawful, threatening, impersonating, fraudulent or rights-infringing material through the available account, rating or support functions. You must have authority to provide material concerning another person and must not use those functions for spam or unrelated commercial solicitation.
11.5 For iOS downloads, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app licence unless a valid custom licence is expressly supplied through the App Store. That licence takes precedence for an app-licence conflict; these Terms govern the separate membership service. Applicable third-party software licences also remain effective. Apple and Google are not made the sellers of a membership paid directly to Vauve Life through Razorpay merely because they distribute the app.
12 Ratings Submissions and Complaints About Content
12.1 The public review function accepts star ratings and written comments on Merchant pages. Your name and optional profile photograph are displayed with your review to the relevant Merchant and other users viewing that page. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Do not post fabricated, abusive, unlawful, impersonating or rights-infringing content, disclose another person's private information, coordinate manipulation or use repeated accounts to distort a score. An honest negative review is not a breach merely because we or a Merchant disagree with it.
12.2 You retain the rights you have in the photograph, review and other material you provide. You give us the limited permission needed to store, display and technically reproduce your review and associated name and profile photograph for the review function and to include the score in the Merchant's rating calculation. You can edit or delete your review at any time. The permission ends when the content or Account is deleted, except for a restricted copy specifically required by law or a genuinely anonymous aggregate. It does not authorise advertising use of your identity or publication of private support correspondence. The Privacy Policy explains public visibility and deletion.
12.3 We may assess and restrict fraudulent, abusive, unlawful or otherwise prohibited submissions on reasonable grounds and comply with applicable removal or preservation requirements. We may remove content, restrict the affected function or address abusive use proportionately. We do not promise that every submission is pre-screened, and moderation does not create a blanket exemption from responsibility. Users can raise content concerns through the reporting route below; the relevant legal response periods apply.
12.4 Report a review, impersonation, privacy violation or alleged infringement to info@vauve.life. Identify the content or page, the issue and reasonably available supporting information. For a rights complaint, explain your rights or authority to act. We may seek clarification and assess the request under the applicable process. A bare allegation does not automatically authorise disclosure of another user's identity or removal of an honest review. Unresolved content grievances may be addressed to Sam Fernandes, Director and Grievance Officer, through the same email.
13 Restriction Termination and Account Deletion
13.1 We may restrict the affected function or suspend or terminate an Account where reasonably necessary to address fraud, a material breach, security risk, legal ineligibility or a binding legal requirement. Measures must be proportionate. We will give reasons and an opportunity to raise a support challenge where lawful and practicable; urgent protective action may precede notice.
13.2 Suspension or termination does not automatically forfeit all paid fees or accrued rights. Any lawful restriction, correction of an improperly obtained benefit or claim for loss must reflect its grounds and applicable law. Ending access does not prevent a user from seeking an existing remedy.
13.3 To delete your Account, sign in, open Profile, scroll down to Delete Account beside Log out, and confirm the prompt. Confirmed deletion immediately removes the Account and associated information from the active account backend, subject to the limited lawful records explained in the Privacy Policy, and ends access through that Account. If you cannot sign in, email info@vauve.life to request deletion. Stopping renewal, deleting the Account and requesting a refund are different actions. The deletion process must explain active billing and provide the applicable cancellation route; a remaining paid period does not prevent initiation of deletion. Uninstalling the app does not itself cancel renewal or delete the Account. Deletion does not waive an existing payment complaint or valid refund claim.
13.4 If we permanently discontinue the paid Services or terminate your membership for reasons unrelated to your breach or legal ineligibility, we will explain the effect on access and future billing and deal with unprovided paid Services under the Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable law. We will not continue charging for a discontinued service or use closure as a blanket basis to retain sums legally repayable.
14 Privacy and Communications
14.1 The Privacy Policy explains account and service records, optional profile photographs, approximate location, device information, behavioural recommendations, public reviews, service providers, employee access in Mumbai and Dubai, retention and request routes. Accepting these Terms does not give blanket permission for optional processing or future data uses. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising or share it with third-party AI services. The notices, permissions and lawful basis applicable to each activity remain necessary.
14.2 We may send communications needed for verification, membership, security, support or legal notices through an appropriate available channel. Device notification permission and any separate promotional choice apply to push messages. Nearby-store recommendations are optional promotional communications; they are separate from membership and security notices. Approximate location and behavioural recommendations are subject to the choices in the Privacy Policy. Declining optional photos, background location, personalisation or promotional messages does not by itself cancel paid access. A current-location feature cannot use location permission that has been refused or withdrawn.
15 Disclaimers and Allocation of Liability
15.1 We are responsible for the Services we agree to supply and our own acts and omissions under applicable law. A Merchant remains responsible for its underlying supply. We do not guarantee every Merchant's performance, personal suitability of an Offer, minimum savings or uninterrupted compatibility. Except for the commitments expressly forming part of the contract and mandatory legal standards, we give no additional assurance that the Platform will meet an individual user's particular expectations.
15.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss not caused by our breach or other actionable conduct, or remote or indirect loss that is not recoverable under the applicable legal standard. We do not assume business-profit or commercial-use commitments for a personal membership. These provisions do not exclude an otherwise recoverable loss merely by labelling it “indirect”, and impose no monetary cap on a legally recoverable consumer claim.
15.3 Nothing excludes fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury to the extent liability cannot be excluded, or statutory rights concerning deficiency, misleading representations, unfair practices, data protection or other non-excludable obligations. Third-party involvement, partial use and a completed redemption record do not by themselves defeat such rights. Each party should take reasonable steps to avoid preventable loss without losing a remedy merely because support was not its first route.
16 Responsibility for Deliberate Misuse and Third Party Claims
16.1 To the extent enforceable under applicable law, you agree to indemnify Vauve Life for reasonable, evidenced loss and defence costs directly attributable to a third-party claim caused by your fraud, deliberate unlawful misuse of the Platform, or knowing infringement of another person's rights in material you provide. The obligation extends only to the share properly attributable to your conduct; it does not cover ordinary authorised use, a genuine complaint, or loss caused by Vauve Life's, a Merchant's or a provider's own breach or misconduct.
16.2 We must give reasonably prompt notice and relevant particulars of a claim, permit you a reasonable opportunity to respond and participate, and take reasonable steps to limit loss. We will not impose a settlement admitting your liability or requiring payment from you without your agreement or a competent determination. This clause creates no automatic penalty, advance defence-funding obligation or waiver of consumer rights.
17 Events Beyond Reasonable Control
17.1 A party is not responsible for delay or failure to the extent caused by an event genuinely beyond its reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, war, binding government restriction or widespread infrastructure outage, where reasonable precautions and mitigation could not prevent the relevant effect. We must take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and communicate material effects where practicable.
17.2 Ordinary avoidable capacity or financial problems, or an incident caused by failure to take legally required precautions, are not excused simply by invoking this clause. It does not authorise charging for an unprovided service, retaining a legally due refund, or excluding mandatory consumer or data-security obligations. If non-performance continues, available cancellation, refund and other legal remedies remain applicable.
18 Changes and Notices
18.1 We may revise these Terms to reflect lawful changes in the Services, security, operations or legislation. We will identify the effective date and bring material changes to affected users' attention before application where required. Fresh agreement or authorisation will be obtained where necessary. We will not rely solely on continued use or posting an update to impose an unrelated processing purpose, an unauthorised charge or a retrospective reduction of an accrued right.
18.2 Future purchase or renewal terms may differ after appropriate disclosure. An existing paid bargain remains subject to the agreed terms and lawful change process. If a material change prevents supply of the paid Services as agreed, the Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable remedies apply.
18.3 Routine contract notices may be provided in the app, through an appropriate message to the registered number, or by email where supplied, subject to applicable communication rules. Please keep contact details current. Legal service requirements are not replaced by a deemed-receipt provision in these Terms. You may send notices and complaints to the contact in clause 20; this does not shorten any statutory claim period.
19 General Provisions
19.1 These Terms, the agreed plan or campaign conditions, applicable purchase disclosures and the Cancellation and Refund Policy form the membership agreement. They supersede inconsistent prior arrangements only so far as lawfully possible; they do not exclude liability for a statement, advertisement or assurance that legally forms part of the transaction. Privacy permissions remain governed by the applicable notice and law.
19.2 A delay or failure by either party to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as legally possible; this does not authorise unilateral rewriting of the invalid provision to the consumer's detriment.
19.3 You may not assign the membership contract or trade account access except through a transfer expressly permitted by us or the applicable plan. We may transfer the business or agreement only in accordance with law, with required notice or consent and without materially reducing the customer's existing protections or evading responsibility. Any related personal-information transfer remains subject to the Privacy Policy and law.
19.4 No person obtains an unrestricted right to enforce these Terms merely by being named as a provider or Merchant. Applicable app-store licence rights and statutory rights remain unaffected. Provisions concerning intellectual property, accrued payment or refund obligations, lawful retention and disputes survive ending access only to the extent their subject matter requires.
20 Governing Law Support and Grievances
20.1 Indian law governs the membership agreement. A dispute may be brought before a court, consumer commission or other authority competent under applicable law. Seeking an amicable resolution through support does not prevent either party from exercising its legal remedies. The jurisdiction and claim periods available under applicable law remain unaffected.
20.2 For support, email info@vauve.life. Our Grievance Officer is Sam Fernandes, Director, at the same email and the company address in clause 1.1. Mark an unresolved complaint “Grievance” and include any earlier reference. Privacy and content requests should identify the nature of the issue so the applicable response process can be used.
20.3 Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within one month of receipt, or sooner where applicable law or a binding purchase-channel rule requires. For a Google Play-billed purchase, purchase-support requests will receive a response within three business days or a shorter applicable period. Content and privacy complaints are subject to their applicable legal timetables; the general consumer timetable does not extend a shorter mandatory deadline. We communicate the outcome and further steps rather than treating acknowledgment alone as resolution.
Schedule 1 Current Membership Terms
S1.1 Annual plan. One annual membership is offered at INR 4,999, including applicable taxes. The paid year starts immediately on successful purchase and runs for one calendar year, plus a validly earned extension. The plan renews annually unless future renewal is cancelled under clause 5 and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
S1.2 Offer access. During active paid or trial access, Members may repeatedly redeem valid and available Offers without a general membership-level usage cap. This does not extend an Offer's validity, override its available hours or guarantee combination of multiple Offers on a bill. Clauses 7 and 8 govern individual redemptions.
S1.3 First-time trial. Eligible first-time users receive a 30-day free trial without providing a payment mandate. It expires without automatic paid conversion. Purchase during the trial starts the paid year immediately: unused trial days are lost and are not carried forward. The user may instead finish the trial before deciding to purchase.
S1.4 Referral reward. An existing paid member who successfully refers a new user receives 30 additional days when the referred user purchases a membership through the referral process. The referred buyer also receives 30 additional days on the new annual membership. The buyer bonus applies to referred buyers, not all new purchasers. Contact our support team at info@vauve.life if a qualifying referral has not been credited.
S1.5 Extension and billing. The awarded days extend access and postpone the next renewal charge by the same number of days. They remain available after future renewal is switched off. A referred buyer's earned 30 days are separate from unused trial days lost under S1.3.
S1.6 Other access. No additional gift, partner campaign or promotional period is included unless actually offered on disclosed conditions under clause 6. Future campaigns do not retrospectively change the benefits promised for this plan.
Privacy Policy
Effective date 2 November 2026
1 Who we are and what this policy covers
1.1 VAUVE LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED operates Vauve Life. In this policy, “Vauve Life”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company. We are responsible for the personal information we handle in providing the Vauve Life apps, the website at www.vauve.life, membership services, offer redemptions, referrals, ratings and customer support. This policy also covers personal information supplied by merchant representatives in their business dealings with us.
1.2 Our address is 304, B Wing, Vimlachal Apartment, Ramchandra Lane Evershine, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064, India. Our Grievance Officer is Sam Fernandes, Director. You can contact him about privacy, your information or a complaint at info@vauve.life or at the postal address above.
1.3 “Personal information” means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It includes account-linked membership, payment, redemption and support records. Removing a name or replacing it with an account number does not by itself make information anonymous.
1.4 This policy explains our information practices. It does not replace a notice, permission or consent required for a particular use. Our Terms and Conditions and Cancellation and Refund Policy explain the membership contract, future billing and refunds. They do not limit your mandatory privacy rights.
2 Information we collect and where it comes from
2.1 Account information. When you register, we collect your full name and Indian mobile number. Email is optional. We use an SMS one-time password to verify your number and sign you in. The current registration process does not request your date of birth or use Google or Apple account sign-in. Authentication records are personal information even where they contain no name.
2.2 Membership and payment records. We handle records of your trial or paid membership, access period, referral attribution and rewards, extensions, renewal, payment status and transaction references, cancellation and refunds. These records arise when you use the service or are received from the payment provider to administer your transaction. Information you enter in a Razorpay payment flow is handled by Razorpay and the relevant payment participants. The membership transaction records we receive are distinct from payment credentials you provide to those participants.
2.3 Redemptions and savings. We handle records of the merchant and offer concerned, coupons and redemptions, the bill amount entered for the redemption, and estimated savings. The entered amount is before discount, includes tax and excludes tips. We use it to record the transaction and estimate savings; entering it does not pay the merchant. A redemption at a health-related provider may reveal information about health even if no medical record is uploaded.
2.4 Profile photograph and reviews. A profile photograph is optional. We collect the single photograph you choose to supply for your profile; we do not collect other photographs from your library or access your contacts. We also collect the star ratings and written comments you submit on merchant pages and associate them with your account and the relevant merchant. Section 6 explains when your name, review and profile photograph are visible to others.
2.5 Correspondence and requests. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to provide. We also handle the information reasonably needed to investigate your enquiry, complaint, correction, cancellation or privacy request, including relevant service records and information supplied by the merchant or payment provider. Please do not send login codes, merchant PINs, full card numbers, medical records or another person's information unless genuinely necessary for the issue.
2.6 Device and delivery information. We handle the device model and operating system and version used to access the app for compatibility and service operation. Authentication and notification delivery also involve the account or app-installation information needed to authenticate a request or deliver a message. This may include a push-notification delivery token and delivery status. These service records are separate from advertising identifiers. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services or collect advertising data.
2.7 Approximate location. With your permission, we use your approximate device location to show offers and merchants near you and in your city, recommend nearby stores, send nearby-store notifications and help you navigate to a merchant you select. Precise GPS location is not required. The app uses location while in use and, if you separately enable the background feature, may access approximate location when the app is closed or not in use to provide nearby-store recommendations and notifications. We do not retain a history of your device locations or movements. Merchant locations recorded in your redemption history are separate service records and may indicate where you redeemed an offer.
2.8 Behaviour and preferences. We collect information about your interactions with offers and categories in the app, the offers you redeem, the locations of those merchants and your expressed or inferred category preferences. We use these inputs in Vauve Life's recommendation algorithm to personalise the offers and merchants shown to you. This is behavioural processing within our service even though we do not use a separate analytics service. We do not send this information to third-party AI services.
2.9 Guest use. Guests can browse without supplying a name, mobile number or email. Guest browsing does not require registration. Device permissions and any optional collection are subject to the choices described in section 4; guest status is not permission to collect information without the required notice or consent.
2.10 Merchant representatives. We collect the personal business-contact details, offer information and correspondence that merchant representatives supply to administer participation and resolve enquiries. Business-contact details remain personal information when they identify an individual.
3 How we use information
3.1 Providing the service. We use the information relevant to the requested function to verify your mobile number; establish and administer your account; provide membership, trial and referral benefits; record access and extensions; administer renewal; reconcile membership payments and refunds; issue and record coupons and redemptions; calculate estimated savings; process and display ratings; and respond to enquiries and requests. Merchant representative information is used to administer the merchant relationship and offer information.
3.2 Security and disputes. Where an actual security concern, suspected misuse, payment dispute or complaint requires investigation, we use the records reasonably needed to understand and resolve that issue. We may preserve relevant evidence to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. These purposes do not authorise unrelated advertising, unlimited monitoring or retention of every account record.
3.3 Legal obligations. We use and retain the information necessary to comply with binding tax, accounting, cybersecurity, lawful-disclosure and other legal requirements. Information held for one of those requirements is restricted to the relevant purpose.
3.4 Recommendations and communications. We use the behaviour and preference information described in section 2.8 to make recommendations within Vauve Life. Approximate location makes nearby results and recommendations relevant to you. Notifications concern membership and service matters or, where you choose to receive them, nearby-store recommendations. We do not treat registration, buying membership or accepting the Terms as blanket consent for optional processing.
3.5 Advertising and onward use. We do not sell personal information, use your information for advertising, collect advertising data or share your information with third-party AI services. Our own recommendations about participating merchants are distinct from advertising-network use or sharing for another company's advertising. We do not authorise providers to repurpose information received from us for those activities. Nearby-store recommendations remain optional promotional communications even though we do not use advertising networks.
3.6 Sensitive inferences. We limit the use of information that reveals or reasonably allows an inference about health or other sensitive matters. A health-related redemption does not authorise unrelated profiling, disclosure or promotional use of that information. Any sensitive processing requires the notice, lawful basis and specific consent applicable to that use.
4 Consent and your choices
4.1 We provide the information and obtain the consent or other lawful authorisation required for the processing concerned. Where consent is required, we ask before that processing starts. A permission prompt or a link to this policy does not replace a separate, prominent explanation where the processing requires one.
4.2 Optional information and permissions are distinguished from what is necessary to provide a requested function. You may decline optional email and optional uses without losing membership merely for that reason. If information is necessary to authenticate your account, fulfil a transaction or provide a specific feature, we explain the consequence of not providing it.
4.3 You can withdraw consent for processing that depends on it through the control provided for that use or by writing to info@vauve.life. Where the processing uses a device permission, you can also change that permission in your device settings. Withdrawal applies to the processing concerned; it does not retrospectively invalidate earlier lawful processing or remove a legal obligation to retain a limited record. We explain any resulting feature limitation.
4.4 An SMS login code or a service message is not permission to send unrelated promotions. Verification, payment, security and complaint communications use the information needed for the relevant service or legal notice. Where optional promotional messages are offered, the notice and preference control must identify that use separately.
4.5 Location. We request location access in the context of the location-based feature. Foreground access does not constitute permission for background access. Background location requires a separate explanation and the applicable device permission before it begins. You can refuse it or change the permission in device settings. Declining background access does not remove your membership; nearby results cannot update from your background location while access is off. If location is declined entirely, features that depend on your current location cannot use it, but you can continue to browse the available offers.
4.6 Notifications and personalisation. We request device notification permission before sending notifications that require it. You can turn notifications off in your device settings and ask us at info@vauve.life to stop optional nearby-store messages or withdraw consent to behavioural personalisation. Essential account and transaction processing is separate from optional promotion. Turning off push notifications does not prevent us from providing necessary service or legal information through an available contact channel. A request to stop optional personalisation applies to the relevant preference profile as well as future use of the underlying behaviour for that purpose, subject to any limited lawful retention.
5 Who receives information
5.1 Service providers. The following providers support the documented service. We limit disclosures to what is needed for the relevant function.
| Recipient | Information and purpose |
|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts the backend and database used to provide the app and store the relevant account and service records. The primary app database is in Mumbai, India. |
| Twilio and telecommunications providers | Process the destination mobile number and verification-message and delivery information to provide SMS verification. |
| Razorpay and payment participants | Process membership payments and refunds. We exchange the transaction information necessary to administer and reconcile those payments and refunds. |
| Notification delivery services | Process the app-installation delivery information, message content and delivery status necessary to send a notification through your device platform. Device permission and the relevant messaging choices apply. |
5.2 Provider safeguards. We require third parties with whom we share app user data to provide the same or an equal level of protection as this policy and the applicable Apple and Google privacy requirements. Providers acting on our instructions must process information only for the authorised service, protect its confidentiality and security, restrict access and onward processing, and assist with applicable deletion and rights requests. A provider's own legal duties may apply to particular payment, telecommunications or security records; those duties do not permit unrelated use of information received from us.
5.3 You can read AWS data privacy information, Twilio's privacy notice and Razorpay's privacy policy. These notices explain those providers' own practices. They do not replace our notice or remove our responsibility for information under our control.
5.4 Merchants. Merchants do not receive access to your private Vauve Life account information, contact details, membership records, location or redemption history. They can see the public review information described in section 6 when you choose to post on their page. During in-person redemption, staff also see the verification and coupon information you present on your device and handle their own bill. That interaction does not give them access to the private information held in your account.
5.5 Professional advisers and authorities. We may disclose the information reasonably necessary to an adviser handling a specific accounting matter, audit or legal claim, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations. We disclose information to competent authorities where required or otherwise lawfully permitted, after assessing the request and the applicable legal conditions. An allegation alone does not entitle a complainant to another user's identity or records.
5.6 Business changes. A proposed merger, reorganisation or business transfer may require limited access to or transfer of relevant information. Any such disclosure must have a lawful basis, be appropriately protected and be accompanied by the notice or consent required by law. It does not automatically permit a new owner to use information for an unrelated purpose.
5.7 Separate merchant and external activities. Merchants are responsible for information they obtain directly in providing their own goods or services. Other websites or services you choose to visit have their own practices. We remain responsible for our own disclosures and handling of your information.
5.8 Directions. When you choose navigation to a merchant, the directions function uses the selected destination and the location permitted for that function. If you open a separate maps service, that service handles the information supplied to it under its own notice and device permissions. Review those controls before sharing further information. Choosing directions does not give a merchant access to your device location.
6 Ratings and public information
6.1 When you post a review on a merchant page, your name, star rating, written comments and profile photograph, if you supplied one, are visible to that merchant and other users viewing the page. The rating may also contribute to the merchant's overall rating. Your profile photograph is otherwise visible only to you within the app. Your mobile number, optional email address, payment information, location and private support correspondence are not displayed with a review.
6.2 You can edit or delete your review whenever you wish through the review controls. Contact info@vauve.life if you need assistance or believe information has been disclosed incorrectly. When we delete your account, we also remove associated personal review and profile-photograph information, subject only to a specific lawful retention requirement explained to you. A genuinely anonymous aggregate may remain only where it can no longer reasonably identify or be linked to you. A retained account identifier is not an anonymous aggregate.
6.3 Other people may see or record information you intentionally make public. This does not waive our responsibilities for the information we publish or turn a support message into permission to publish a testimonial.
7 The informational website
7.1 The informational website does not use cookies, browser local storage, analytics, forms or embedded third-party services. Its hosting and delivery providers necessarily process the network information needed to respond to a request, including the requesting network address and requested resource. Any security records must be limited to the relevant security or legal purpose and the retention rules in section 9. The absence of analytics does not mean that a website can be delivered without processing a network address.
7.2 If you use a published email link, the message is handled by the email services involved and supplies us with the information you send. It is not a website form submission.
8 Processing locations and international transfers
8.1 The primary app database is hosted in AWS Mumbai, India. Authorised Vauve Life employees access information for their work from our offices in Mumbai and mainland Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Access from Dubai is processing outside India even when the database remains in Mumbai. We limit such access to the information needed for the employee's role and apply confidentiality and security requirements.
8.2 The providers described in section 5 may process information through their service infrastructure and authorised subprocessors. The primary database location is not a promise that every payment, SMS, notification or support operation takes place in India. We assess the processing and transfer arrangements applicable to each service rather than treating a provider's public notice as evidence of India-only processing.
8.3 A transfer of sensitive personal information must meet the applicable Indian requirements, including the required level of protection and the relevant necessity or consent condition. Other cross-border processing must also comply with the law and restrictions applicable to the information and activity. Accepting this policy does not replace a required safeguard or permit a prohibited transfer. You can ask info@vauve.life about the arrangements applicable to your information.
9 How long we keep information
9.1 We retain personal information for the purpose for which it was collected and for a longer period only where a specific lawful requirement or justified, limited need applies. We consider the record's purpose, sensitivity, applicable law and whether the purpose can be met with less information. Different records have different periods; keeping a tax record does not require keeping every profile, rating or redemption detail.
| Record category | Retention and deletion rule |
|---|---|
| Account profile, photograph, membership, referral, redemption and recommendation records | Keep while needed to operate your account and the relevant function. Confirmed in-app deletion removes these records from our active account backend immediately, subject to the limited legal records below. Withdrawn optional uses stop as described in section 4. |
| Device location | Use for the permitted location-based function. We do not retain a history of device locations or movements. This does not erase a merchant location recorded as part of a redemption. |
| Public reviews | Keep while the review remains published. Remove the review when you delete it or your account, subject to a specific lawful preservation requirement. |
| Support correspondence and privacy requests | Keep while needed to handle the request and any related dispute or mandatory compliance record. Any further retention is limited to the relevant legal duty or claim and ends when that need and the applicable period end. |
| Membership invoices, books and supporting transaction records | Retain the records required by applicable accounting and tax law. Applicable GST records are generally retained for 72 months from the relevant annual-return due date; company books and relevant vouchers are generally kept for at least the eight financial years immediately preceding a financial year, or the company's shorter existence. Where several requirements apply, the affected records are kept for the longest applicable mandatory period, including a legally required longer hold. |
| Required cybersecurity logs | Retain applicable ICT system logs securely for the legally required rolling period of 180 days within India. A valid preservation requirement may require the relevant records to be held longer. This is not a reason to keep unrelated profile or movement information. |
| Records held by a provider under its own legal duties | The provider may retain limited payment, telecommunications or security records for the period required by its applicable obligations. Those records do not keep your Vauve Life account active. |
9.2 Where a dispute, investigation or legal preservation duty requires a longer hold, we restrict retention to the relevant information and purpose, review the need and delete it when that need and the mandatory period end. Retained information is not available for unrelated marketing or ordinary account use.
9.3 Deletion includes information held by providers on our behalf. We instruct them to delete the relevant information or apply the same justified retention restriction. Where a provider must keep a record under its own legal duty, that limited retention is separate from keeping your Vauve Life account active. Account deletion does not leave the deleted profile or history available for ordinary account use. Any restricted copy required by law remains subject to the same purpose and retention limits; it must not restore erased information to ordinary account use.
10 Deleting your account and associated information
10.1 In the app. Sign in, open your Profile, scroll down to Delete Account beside Log out, and confirm the deletion prompt. Confirmation immediately deletes the account and its associated information from our active account backend and ends access through that account. This includes the profile photograph, reviews and recommendation profile, subject to the limited lawful retention explained in section 9. It is not merely suspension or deactivation. A proportionate identity or confirmation check may protect you from an unauthorised request.
10.2 Without access to the app. You can request deletion by emailing info@vauve.life with the subject “Vauve Life account deletion”. Give us the mobile number associated with the account so we can identify it. Do not include a login code, merchant PIN, full payment details or unnecessary identity documents. We will use a proportionate check to verify that the request concerns your account. You do not need to reinstall the app to use this route.
10.3 In-app deletion takes effect in the active account backend when you confirm it. For an email request, we first verify the requester's authority and then process deletion without undue delay. We explain the expected completion time when acknowledging the request and confirm completion or an applicable lawful restriction. The immediate backend action does not represent that a payment provider's independent legal record or a mandatory accounting or security record is erased instantly. If a lawful exception affects part of a request, it does not justify retaining unrelated information.
10.4 Membership and billing. Account deletion ends access through that account. Uninstalling the app, ending future renewal and deleting an account are different actions. Deletion does not by itself prove that a bank or payment-provider mandate has been revoked. The deletion process must explain how any active renewal is handled and provide assistance with stopping it. You can contact info@vauve.life about a continuing charge, an existing complaint or a refund request. Deletion does not waive a valid refund or other mandatory remedy. A remaining paid period must not prevent you from initiating deletion.
11 Access correction withdrawal and complaints
11.1 Write to info@vauve.life to ask about information concerning you, seek access to or correction of information you supplied, withdraw consent where the processing depends on it, or raise a privacy complaint. Section 10 explains account deletion. Tell us what you need and provide only the information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant account or interaction.
11.2 We may verify your identity or a representative's authority through proportionate means. We do not require unrelated sensitive documents to obstruct a request. If we cannot fulfil part of a request, we explain the reason, subject to any lawful confidentiality or security restriction.
11.3 We acknowledge and address requests within the period applicable to the matter. Privacy grievances covered by the Information Technology sensitive personal data rules are redressed expeditiously and within one month of receipt. Any shorter mandatory period applies where required. We communicate our response and the available next steps.
11.4 Additional statutory rights apply when and to the extent the relevant law is in force and applies to the request. These may include a processing and sharing summary, erasure and nomination of a person to exercise rights in the circumstances specified by law. Requests can be sent to the same contact. Nothing in this policy restricts access to a competent regulator, court, consumer commission or other legally available remedy.
12 Adults and information about other people
12.1 Registration, trials and paid membership are for people aged 18 or over. We do not collect dates of birth in ordinary registration and do not represent this as verified age assurance. If you believe a child has registered or that we have received a child's information improperly, contact info@vauve.life. We will assess the information, restrict ineligible access and take the deletion, protection or other action required by the applicable law.
12.2 Do not provide another person's personal information without appropriate authority or provide unnecessary sensitive information. We assess information received from a merchant or in a complaint according to its purpose and sensitivity. An adult-only membership rule does not remove duties that apply to information about children or other people.
13 Security and incidents
13.1 We protect information through technical and organisational measures appropriate to its sensitivity and the risks of processing. These include modern encrypted transmission for personal information, authentication for account access, restrictions on employee and provider access according to their roles, and procedures for handling deletion requests and security incidents. Access for support or administration is limited to authorised work. Providers processing information for us are subject to the protections described in section 5.2.
13.2 No online service can guarantee absolute security. This does not reduce our required standard of care. If an incident affects personal information, we assess and contain it, preserve necessary evidence and notify affected people or competent authorities where and within the periods required by applicable law. Report suspected misuse to info@vauve.life without sending verification secrets.
14 Changes and contact
14.1 We identify the effective date of this policy and communicate material changes to affected users as required. Before introducing a materially different category, purpose, recipient or tracking practice, we provide the necessary notice and obtain any required consent or other lawful authorisation. Publishing an updated policy or continuing to use the app is not a substitute for consent where consent is required.
14.2 For questions, rights requests or complaints, contact the privacy grievance officer identified in section 1.2 at info@vauve.life or the postal address in that section. Please identify the relevant account or interaction and the action you would like us to take.
Refund Policy
Effective date 2 November 2026
1 Scope and Governing Principles
1.1 This Policy governs cancellation of renewal and refunds of membership fees paid to VAUVE LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED (“Vauve Life”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in those Terms. It distinguishes ending future billing, ending access, deleting an Account and refunding a payment.
1.2 The current annual membership costs INR 4,999 including applicable taxes, and current direct membership payments are processed through Razorpay. The checkout and receipt identify the provider that actually bills a purchase. Merely downloading Vauve Life from the App Store or Google Play does not make that store the billing provider. Clauses 5.5 and 9.5 explain the additional procedures if a purchase is expressly billed through Apple or Google; they do not state that store billing is currently offered.
1.3 Membership fees are separate from the bill for a Merchant's goods or services. A refund of that bill is ordinarily a matter for the Merchant and relevant payment participants. This distinction does not remove Vauve Life's responsibility for its own membership service, representations or other legally actionable conduct.
1.4 This Policy does not exclude any refund, repayment, cancellation, compensation or other remedy required by law or provided under the applicable Apple or Google purchase-channel rules. Those mandatory rights and channel procedures take precedence over a conflicting restriction here. A goodwill decision is separate from an established entitlement. A store's administration of a payment does not excuse Vauve Life from its own support or legal responsibilities.
2 No Change of Mind Refunds
2.1 For a direct membership purchase, we do not offer a refund merely because you change your mind, do not use it, use it partly, cancel future renewal, delete the Account, move away from participating outlets or achieve less savings than expected. This also applies to a validly authorised direct renewal unless an applicable term or legal right requires otherwise. This commercial rule does not override Apple or Google refund rights for a purchase billed by that store, or a mandatory refund under law.
2.2 We do not add a general cooling-off period or unused-membership refund window to a direct purchase. This does not exclude a valid claim concerning deficiency, misrepresentation, unfair practice, an unauthorised or incorrect charge, or another legally recognised ground. Partial use does not extinguish such a claim. Any additional country-specific or store-provided cancellation or refund entitlement remains available.
2.3 A free trial or earned access extension has no separate cash redemption value merely because unused time remains. This does not reduce a remedy arising from a paid purchase or the failure to provide a promised benefit.
3 Captured Payment Without Activation and Duplicate Charges
3.1 If a membership payment is successfully captured but the membership does not activate, contact our support team at info@vauve.life. Once the captured payment and absence of activation are verified, you are entitled to a refund of that membership charge. We may offer to correct activation, but you need not accept that instead of the refund described here.
3.2 If the same purchase is captured twice, we will refund the duplicate amount after checking the records. Refund of the duplicate does not cancel the correctly paid membership. Two bank entries do not necessarily establish two captured payments: an authorisation, pending entry or failed transaction awaiting reversal may be different.
3.3 Verification establishes the relevant facts; it is not a power to refuse an established entitlement at unrestricted discretion. We will seek only reasonably necessary information and will not require you to make a new purchase to obtain a refund of the failed or duplicate purchase.
4 Incorrect Unauthorised and Failed Payments
4.1 Report a charge that differs from the authorised amount, a charge after effective renewal cancellation or another suspected payment error promptly. We will check the membership and payment records, correct our error and return an amount that is not lawfully due. We will not charge an additional amount merely because a listing or processing error is discovered without the necessary payment authority.
4.2 If you suspect an unauthorised payment, also contact your bank or payment provider promptly and follow its reporting and security process. Doing so does not require surrender of a claim against Vauve Life. Different payment-system rules and reporting consequences may apply; this Policy does not replace them with a single contractual deadline.
4.3 A failed payment or blocked authorisation may be reversed through the bank or payment system without a captured amount being available for us to refund. We can check the status and available references. Applicable reversal and compensation requirements remain effective and are not extended by the normal-refund estimate in clause 9.
5 Cancelling Renewal
5.1 For a recurring membership billed directly through Razorpay, request cancellation at info@vauve.life with the subject “Cancel Vauve Life renewal”. Give your registered mobile number and available purchase reference; do not send verification codes or full payment details. You may also use the applicable bank or payment-provider mandate-withdrawal or transaction opt-out control. We will confirm the effective cancellation and next-charge status. If a displayed charge remains incorrect or you cannot use the relevant control, contact us promptly. This route concerns direct billing; use clause 5.5 for a store-billed purchase.
5.2 Cancel before the next charge is processed, allowing for a cut-off expressly imposed by the actual billing provider. Vauve Life imposes no additional notice period or cancellation fee. If a timely cancellation was not implemented or a control failed, collection does not defeat a valid claim. Cancelling renewal normally preserves access for the remainder of the paid period and does not by itself refund that period; any right to immediate cancellation, a prorated refund or another remedy under law or the purchase channel remains available.
5.3 Remaining paid time and validly earned extension days continue after future renewal is switched off. An earned extension also postpones the next charge by its awarded number of days. If the payment schedule does not reflect the extension, notify our support team at info@vauve.life; this is not permission to charge early or require payment again for the earned period.
5.4 Uninstalling the app, ceasing use, changing a device or failing to redeem an Offer does not itself cancel a mandate. A failed renewal payment does not establish that a mandate has been revoked. Any further collection or retry remains subject to the valid authorisation and applicable payment rules.
5.5 For an Apple-billed subscription, use Apple subscription management or Settings, your name, Subscriptions, then select Vauve Life. For a Google Play-billed subscription, use Google Play subscription management or Play Store, profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Follow the date and cancellation information shown there. Apple advises cancelling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends where such an Apple trial is actually offered. The current Vauve Life trial described in clause 6.1 requires no payment mandate and does not automatically convert. An email to us does not by itself establish that a store subscription has been cancelled; contact us if assistance is needed.
6 Trials Referrals and Campaigns
6.1 The current 30-day first-time trial requires no payment mandate and does not automatically convert into a paid membership. It expires without a charge unless you separately choose to purchase and authorise payment. Purchasing during the trial starts the paid year immediately; unused trial days are lost and are not carried forward.
6.2 A qualifying referral awards 30 days to the referring paid member and 30 days to the referred buyer, as described in Schedule 1 of the Terms. The buyer reward is not given to every new purchaser. Earned referral time remains after renewal is cancelled and is distinct from unused trial time.
6.3 Other promotional access, gifts or partner codes apply only when actually offered on disclosed conditions. A campaign cannot remove an entitlement under this Policy or law merely by describing an award or purchase as promotional. A refund or reversal concerning an underlying qualifying purchase may require review of a related award; we will explain any adjustment and its basis rather than automatically confiscating unrelated valid access.
7 Merchant Complaints and Material Service Changes
7.1 Merchants are responsible for their underlying goods and services, working codes, staff training and application of Offers. An isolated refusal, code failure, expired Offer or decision about combining Offers does not automatically entitle a Member to refund of the entire annual fee. Raise an issue at the outlet where practicable and contact our support team at info@vauve.life about any related listing or membership concern.
7.2 We will assess whether the complaint concerns the Merchant, our own Services or both. We will not reject a remedy legally due from us merely because another party was involved, a coupon screen appeared or membership was partly used. A redemption record is not conclusive proof that the discount was received.
7.3 Merchant participation and individual Offers may change within the service described in the Terms. If significant withdrawal, persistent failures, permanent closure or another material change means the paid Services are not supplied as advertised or agreed, the applicable refund or other remedy remains available. The appropriate remedy depends on the agreement, actual shortfall and law; no automatic full annual refund for every incident, or fixed pro-rata formula for every claim, is imposed.
7.4 Where lawful correction or another remedy is offered, we will explain it. A legally due monetary refund will not be compulsorily replaced with a voucher, extension or credit. An alternative settlement requires your agreement and must be legally permissible.
8 Requests Evidence and Decision
8.1 Contact our support team at info@vauve.life. Include your registered mobile number, the purchase or payment reference if available, the date and amount, the relevant Merchant or Offer where applicable and a brief explanation. A relevant receipt or screenshot may be requested where reasonably needed. Do not send login OTPs, merchant PINs, full card details or unrelated medical or bank records.
8.2 We may verify the request against available account and payment records and ask proportionate follow-up questions. If a document is unavailable, explain that so the matter can be assessed on other reasonably available evidence. We will not reject an otherwise established claim solely because of an unnecessary documentation demand or treat our records as irrebuttable.
8.3 Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within one month of receipt, or sooner where law or a binding purchase-channel rule requires. For a Google Play-billed purchase, we respond to purchase-support requests within three business days or a shorter applicable period. We communicate the outcome, reasons and next step. These are support response commitments, not a promise that a bank or store will credit a refund within that time, and they do not permit delay of an accepted refund.
8.4 We may consider goodwill exceptions through support. Such an exception is not a general refund promise and must not replace an amount already due under this Policy or law. No additional contractual claim deadline is imposed here; prompt notice helps investigation without shortening a statutory period.
9 Initiation Method and Processing Time
9.1 An accepted refund will be initiated without undue delay after verification, within any applicable legal deadline. We will confirm initiation and provide available tracking information. Our review and initiation are separate from the time taken by the payment provider and bank to credit the funds.
9.2 A direct Razorpay refund is normally returned through Razorpay to the original payment method. Another method will be used only where lawful, supported by the provider and directed to the same payer. We do not promise cash or a payout to an unrelated person. Contact info@vauve.life if the original instrument is unavailable. Apple- or Google-billed refunds must be handled through the applicable store mechanism rather than diverted to a different payment route.
9.3 Razorpay's current normal-refund guidance generally indicates 7 to 10 working days after initiation, subject to payment method and bank. This is a provider-processing estimate, not a limit on your rights or permission to delay initiation. Applicable failed-transaction reversal or compensation rules remain separate. If credit has not arrived within the indicated period, request a status check using the refund reference.
9.4 We will not deduct an undisclosed cancellation or administration fee. Payment-provider costs payable by Vauve Life are not automatically deductible from a legally due consumer refund. Any lawful adjustment must have an applicable basis and be explained. We will not require a consumer to withdraw a valid complaint before initiating an undisputed refund.
9.5 For an Apple-billed purchase, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support where that route is unavailable. Apple applies its eligibility and regional rules. For a Google Play-billed purchase, use the Google Play refund process; you can also contact us, and we will assess and process refunds within our authority through Google Play where appropriate. Google generally directs eligible app and in-app purchase requests made within 48 hours to its process and later requests to the developer, subject to its current product and regional rules. This is not a Vauve Life contractual claim deadline. A store decision, processing time or additional entitlement is governed by the applicable channel and law; the Razorpay estimate in clause 9.3 does not apply to store refunds.
10 Access Disputed Payments and Double Recovery
10.1 Refunding an unactivated or duplicate direct charge does not create a second membership; a duplicate refund leaves the correctly paid membership intact. For another refund or settlement, we explain the effect on access, renewal and a related award. A store refund or revocation may change the entitlement according to that store's process; cancelling renewal and refunding or revoking a purchase are different actions. We reconcile the actual result without removing unrelated valid access or overriding a remedy required by law.
10.2 You may use a lawful bank dispute, chargeback, consumer complaint or court remedy. Inform our support team at info@vauve.life of a credit already received so records can be reconciled; the same amount is not repayable twice. A dispute or chargeback does not automatically prove fraud or justify cancellation of unrelated valid access. Deliberately false claims may be investigated under the proportionate safeguards in the Terms.
11 Account Deletion and Records
11.1 Account deletion is initiated by signing in, opening Profile, scrolling to Delete Account beside Log out and confirming. It immediately removes the Account from the active account backend and ends access through it, subject to the Privacy Policy's limited lawful retention provisions. Email info@vauve.life if you cannot sign in. Deletion is distinct from renewal cancellation and a refund request. The deletion flow must identify an active mandate or store subscription and provide the applicable cancellation information; it must not require you to wait for a paid period to expire before initiating deletion. Deletion does not establish revocation of a bank or store billing authority, and a deleted Account does not bar an earlier payment complaint or valid refund claim.
11.2 Deletion does not require destruction of every record regardless of law. Limited tax, accounting, security or legally preserved records and independent provider records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. Necessary records must not be erased or retained indiscriminately in a way that defeats a valid payment request or another legal duty.
12 Changes Grievances and Legal Rights
12.1 We may revise this Policy for lawful service, payment or legal changes with appropriate notice. The revised version does not retrospectively remove an existing entitlement. Any materially different payment channel or product must be accompanied by the applicable disclosures before purchase, including any channel-specific cancellation or refund procedure.
12.2 Company: VAUVE LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED. Address: 304, B Wing, Vimlachal Apartment, Ramchandra Lane Evershine, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064, India.
12.3 Our Grievance Officer is Sam Fernandes, Director, at info@vauve.life and the address in clause 12.2. Mark an unresolved complaint “Grievance” and include the earlier reference if available. Payment support uses the same email.
12.4 Indian law applies, together with the competent-forum provisions of the Terms. Support is not an exclusive remedy or a compulsory barrier to a bank, payment-system, regulator, consumer-commission or court process available under law. Nothing in this Policy makes a legally established remedy solely a matter of goodwill.
