Rules of Use

Use of all Vauve Life Offers (“Offers”) and digital memberships/passes (“Products”) by members with a valid account on the Vauve Life app/website (the “App”) is governed by these Rules of Use (“Rules”) and any terms shown on each Offer. Please read these Rules before redeeming any Offer or using any Product.

These Rules are drafted in English; translations are for convenience only and the English version prevails where inconsistent.

Quick Guide

When: Offers are usable 7 days a week, unless the Offer lists blackout/exclusion days (incl. state dry days for alcohol). 

How many: 1 Offer per 2 paying guests; max 4 Offers per table/booking for groups of 8+ (category rules may vary).

Show first: Present your Offer before asking for the bill or paying.

Scope: Valid only for the item/service and outlet/location named on the Offer.

No clubbing: Not valid with other discounts, promotions, set/special menus, or loyalty/employee programs—unless the Offer expressly allows.

Category notes: Beauty/Wellness and Retail/Services follow their own usage rules; “% off” Offers are typically solo.

Taxes/charges: GST, service charges and statutory levies are additional and payable to the merchant.

 

  1. Products & Primary Membership
    1. Products :  Vauve Life Products are city/region-specific digital memberships (and an optional All-India pack) that unlock curated Offers for a fixed term. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, each Product is valid for 12 months from activation (rolling year). Current coverage (indicative): Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, and All-India. Note: Merchant participation and Offer line-ups may change during your term.
    2. Primary Membership: The purchaser becomes the Primary Member for the Product term. Access is personal and non- transferable. Primary Members may opt in to auto-renew; renewals comply with RBI e-mandate norms (pre-debit alerts, easy cancel from Account → Membership Settings). You may disable auto- renew any time before the renewal date. Each Member may use up to ten (10) devices during the membership period(anti-fraud checks apply).
  2. Redeeming Offers
    1. Buy-One-Get-One-Free (BOGO) Open: your chosen Offer in the App. Inform staff before billing that you’ll redeem Vauve Life Offer.
  3. Offer Validity
    1. Dates &blackout: Each Offer is valid for the period shown on its card; blackout/exclusion days may apply (incl. state dry days for alcohol).
    2. Subject to change: Merchants/Offers may change during your term. We may a vendor withdraw an Offer at any time; we’re not liable for such changes.
    3. Where &what: Offers are redeemable only at the brand/outlet named and only for the item/service specified.
    4. No stacking: Not valid with other discounts, promotions, set/special menus, employee/loyalty benefits - unless the Offer states otherwise.
    5. Taxes/charges: Offer value excludes GST, service charges and statutory levies; these are payable to the merchant.
    6. If refused: If a venue declines an Offer, settle the bill first as required by law, then email support@vauvelife.in with details for review.
    7. No cash / no resale: Offers have no cash value and may not be reproduced, resold, traded, transferred, or used via screenshots. Redemption must occur in-App.
    8. Brand-level balance: Core Offers are tracked at the brand level (not per outlet). When your brand balance is used up (as shown in-App), those locations lock until reset/buy-back (if available).
  4. Exclusion Days (India)
    1. General: Offers are usable 7 days a week, except on blackout days shown on the Offer or announced by the Government/State authorities or the merchant.
    2. Common blackouts (illustrative, not exhaustive): 1 Jan, 14 Feb, Republic Day (26 Jan),Holi, Eid-ul- Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Independence Day (15 Aug), Gandhi Jayanti (2 Oct), Dussehra/Vijayadashami, Diwali period, 25 Dec, 31 Dec, and other notified public holidays/long weekends.
    3. Alcohol (dry days): Alcohol-related Offers are not valid on State “dry days” (e.g., 26 Jan, 15 Aug, 2 Oct), polling/counting days, and other excise-notified days. We may auto-block such redemptions by location.
    4. Merchant blackout/closures: Merchants may apply additional blackout dates (festive menus, special  events, peak weekends) or close temporarily/seasonally. Availability isn’t guaranteed; we’re not liable for closures.
    5. Where to check: The App/Offer page will display known blackout dates; these may change without notice based on Government/State/merchant updates
  5. Validity by Category
    1. Food & Drink: What counts as “Main Course / Main Item”: your primary lunch/dinner item (e.g., thali, curry, biryani, kebab platter, dosa set, sushi set, burger, pizza, pasta). Menu design is merchant-defined—if unsure, confirm with staff before ordering. One Offer = one qualified item, unless stated otherwise. BOGO limits(per visit/table/booking): 1 Offer serves 2 paying guests; max 4 Offers for groups of 8+. Same-category rule: deduction applies to the lower-priced eligible item in the same category (Main↔Main, Buffet↔Buffet, Beverage↔Beverage, etc.). One bill per table/group. Exclusions (unless the Offer allows):breakfast, starters, sides, desserts, kids’ menus, combos, shared platters, items priced per kg, special events/menus (festivals, themed nights, brunches, Iftar/Suhoor), BYO.  Delivery/Take-away: only if explicitly allowed on the Offer. Table 1 — BOGO usage. 
    2. Cheers (Alcohol): Available only where legal under state excise law and for members at/above the state legal drinking age (e.g., 18/21/25). Not valid with Happy Hours, Ladies’ Nights, bar promos unless stated. BOGO limits apply (see Table 1). Merchants may require government ID and may refuse service. Dry days and local restrictions auto-block where possible.
    3. Delivery (where enabled): The App auto-applies the best discount (e.g., 2-for-1 vs % off). You can override at checkout. No stacking: you can’t combine 2-for-1 and % off in the same order. Fees (delivery/platform/packing) are not discountable. 2-for-1 requires two eligible items in the cart. Delivery Offers are brand-specific (not outlet-specific unless shown). Share Passes aren’t available for Delivery Offers. Holiday/exclusion-day acceptance is at merchant discretion; venues may appear offline during peak/weather. Quality/accuracy issues: contact the restaurant directly. If you were charged by Vauve Life for a non- fulfilled order, email support@vauvelife.in for assistance.
    4. Attractions & Leisure: Max 4 Offers per booking/visit for 8+ guests (Table 1). Booking may be required. Follow merchant age/height/safety rules. Public-holiday/blackout exclusions may apply. 
    5. Beauty, Wellness & Fitness BOGO usage: (a)  Two people, same visit → the lower-priced treatment/service is complimentary; or (b)  One person, two visits → pay full price on visit 1; get the same/lesser service free on visit 2 (recorded by merchant). The complimentary visit must occur before your Product expires; non- transferable, no gift vouchers/cash alternatives. Show the Offer at completion (or before class for fitness). Advance booking usually required; venue no-show/late policies apply.
    6. Retail & Services: Valid only on the item/service named. One Offer per bill/visit, unless the Offer states otherwise. Not combinable with other promos/discounts unless specified.
    7. Hotels (India): Two types: Buy One Night, Get One Free (complimentary night when another of equal/greater value is purchased at Best Available Rate), and Hotel Package Offers (fixed-rate bundles with inclusions listed). Subject to availability; advance reservation required per Hotel Rules of Use – India. Not shareable via Share Passes; buy-back excluded unless stated. Valid only within the period shown; hotel reservation/payment/cancellation policies apply.
    8. Monthly Offers: Rotate monthly; may differ from core Offers. Validity is stated on each Monthly Offer; we may withdraw at any time. Non-depleting and reusable during validity but capped at 4 uses per account per merchant per day (subject to party-size rules). Not shareable unless the Offer states otherwise. Always subject to these Rules of Use.
  6. Family Accounts (Members only)
    1. Who can share: The Primary Member (purchaser) may share access with up to three (3) Secondary Members by creating a Vauve Life Family Account in the App. One role each: A Primary cannot be a Secondary in another Family at the same time. A Secondary can belong to only one Family at a time. Annual refresh: At renewal, the Primary may reassign all 3 Secondary slots. Mid-term, the Primary may replace one (1) Secondary at a time. Leaving/joining: When a Secondary leaves one Family to join another, they’re disabled from the first Family. If a Secondary purchases a Product, they become a Primary (and exit the Family); the old Primary may fill that slot with someone new. Control: The Primary can disable or re-invite a Secondary anytime; access is restored only after the Secondary accepts the invitation. Devices: Each Member (Primary or Secondary) may use up to ten (10) devices during the membership term (fraud checks apply). 
    2. What's shared: Core Offer balances and Share Pass allowances operate at the Family level (as shown in-App). V-Coins (rewards) accrue to the Family and are visible to all Family Members. Savings totals achieved by a Secondary are not shown on the Primary’s personal dashboard (only Family-level aggregates may appear). Buy-backs & purchases: Only the Primary can buy back a used core Offer and purchase additional Products for the Family. Secondary Members may redeem Offers the Primary has bought back. Timing of shares: Share Passes sent to the Primary before Family creation are not available to Secondaries. Passes sent after Family setup can be used by Secondaries (within stated limits). Age & responsibility: The Primary is responsible for inviting only users who meet eligibility (e.g., 18+ or with guardian consent). Age-restricted categories (e.g., alcohol) remain off-limits where law requires.
  7. Rewards (V-Coins)
    1. What they are: V-Coins are Vauve Life reward points you earn in the App and redeem on in-App items (e.g., buy-back of a used core Offer) as shown in your Rewards screen. Earning & using: Earn through actions, purchases, and campaigns. We may change earning/burn rates and eligible redemptions at any time. Check Profile → Rewards for your live balance and expiry. Expiry: Unless stated otherwise, V-Coins expire 24 months from the earn date. Promotional V-Coins may carry a shorter, campaign-specific expiry shown in-App. Finality: Redemptions are final and non-reversible. V-Coins are not cash, not legal tender, and can’t be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money. Family: Rewards accrue at the Family level; the Primary Member is the beneficiary of record. Secondary redemptions draw from the shared balance. If a Family dissolves, the remaining balance stays with the Primary. Adjustments & fraud: We may correct balances for error, refunds/chargebacks, or suspected misuse; V-Coins gained via abuse may be forfeited. Taxes: Any benefit may be taxable per law; you’re responsible for compliance.
  8. Share Pass (Offer sharing between Primary Members) 
    1. What it is: A Share Pass lets a Primary Member send an Offer to another Primary Member (to the recipient’s registered email/App account). Allowance: Each Product includes 20 Share Passes. You may receive unlimited shares but can redeem up to 20 shared Offers per Product. Per-merchant cap: You can redeem max 3 shared Offers per merchant per Product. Irreversible: Once shared, an Offer can’t be reversed/edited. Expiry if not accepted: If the recipient doesn’t accept within 10 days, the Offer returns to the sender. No onward transfer: A shared Offer you received cannot be re-shared to someone else. No carryover: Unused Share Passes don’t carry to the next Product year. Not eligible: Hotel Offers and Monthly Offers are not shareable (unless explicitly stated). Compliance: Age-restricted categories (e.g., alcohol) can only be shared to members who meet state law requirements; redemption on dry days is blocked.
  9. Vauve Life 30-Day Free Trial
    1. Who gets it: New users who register a fresh account on the App. Trial starts when you accept the offer in-app. What you can use: During the 30 days, you may redeem up to 2 Offers from a limited trial catalogue (as shown in-app). Savings cap: Each trial Offer is subject to an in-app savings cap (INR) displayed on the Offer card. Exclusions: Some merchants/categories are not included in trial (e.g., Hotels, often Monthly and Share Pass). When valid: 7 days a week; blackout/dry days and standard Rules of Use apply. One-time only: The free trial is offered once per individual (controls may include email, mobile number, device, and payment instrument). Billing & opt-out (if you choose auto-start membership): If you opt to add a payment method for a post-trial membership, renewal will follow RBI e-mandate rules (pre-debit alerts; cancel anytime before trial ends in Settings).
  10. Limited-Time "Double Your Offers" Campaign (India)
    1. Window: Valid on purchases made between [Start Date] and [End Date] (India time). How it works: Eligible Product purchases during the window can add a “Double Your Offers” upgrade (price ₹ as shown at checkout) or receive it at no extra cost if flagged in-app. What doubles: Your plan’s core Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) Offers for participating merchants (and Hotel Offers if included in your plan). What doesn’t double: Monthly Offers (non-depleting), flat % Delivery Offers, fees/charges, and any ineligible categories marked in-app. Share Pass boost: Sending allowance doubles; you may redeem up to 40 shared Offers per Product year (per-merchant caps still apply). Rewards: V-Coins accrue as usual on all redemptions. Exclusions: Not valid with other promos/discounts; complimentary/enterprise keys and certain Products (e.g., All-India Pack, if marked) may be excluded. One product year only: Doubling is valid only for the purchased Product year and does not carry over on renewal unless re-offered.
  11. Vauve Life Product Back Guarantee (India)
    1. Who’s eligible: Primary Members who buy a 2025 Product on the Vauve Life App/Website between [23 Oct 2024]–[31 Dec 2024] (India time). What it guarantees: If by [30 Dec 2025] your Family Account Estimated Savings for your 2025 Product are less than the Product’s List Price (RRP) in INR at your time of purchase (exclusive of taxes/fees), you’ll get the equivalent 2026 Product free. Requirements: At least 1 redemption in 2025 recorded in-App. Claim must be raised by the Primary from the registered email to productback@vauvelife.in with invoice + savings screenshot/receipts. One per Member: Limit 1 free 2026 Product per Primary. Only the same Product type/region as purchased is granted. What’s excluded: Complimentary/enterprise keys, corporate/bulk buys, reseller/third-party channel purchases, and ineligible Products flagged in-App. How we deliver: Approved claims are issued as a 2026 VIP key (not cash, non-transferable). Notes: Estimated Savings are the App-tracked discount value (pre-tax/service charges). Vauve Life may verify and refuse fraudulent or ineligible claims.
  12. Table Reservations (India)
    1. Where available: Reservation booking is offered in select Indian cities via the Vauve Life App (and may use a third-party integrator).
    2. How to book: Open the merchant page → Book a Table → choose date, time, party size → submit. Times are supplied by the merchant. A booking is confirmed only when the merchant confirms in-app/SMS/email.

    3. Hold window: Venues typically hold a confirmed table for +15 minutes beyond the booking time; after that, the table may be released.

    4. Change/cancel: Contact the venue directly (phone on the merchant page) for amendments or cancellation. Venue no-show/late policies may apply.

    5. Offer usage: A reservation does not guarantee Offer eligibility on blackout days, special/festive menus, or if category conditions aren’t met. Present your Offer before billing; standard Rules apply.

    6. Availability & closures: Slots and confirmations are merchant-controlled. Venues may close or change hours; Vauve Life isn’t liable for unavailability.

    7. Data sharing: Your booking details (name, phone, email, party size, time) are shared with the venue/booking provider to process the reservation per our Privacy Policy (DPDP-compliant).

  13. General

    Personal use only: Products, Offers and content are for your personal, non-commercial use. No resale/transfer: You may not barter, sell, trade, auction, publish, screenshot, or transfer for value any Product, Offer or content without written consent from Vauve Life. Any such use voids the Offer. No advertising use: Using our Products/Offers or brand assets for ads, promotions, endorsements or lead-gen needs prior written permission. Merchant independence: Merchants may refuse/close or change hours; we’ll use reasonable efforts to assist, but we’re not liable for a merchant’s decision or closure. Force majeure: We’re not responsible where events beyond our control (e.g., acts of God, govt orders, outages, strikes, extreme weather, epidemics) prevent usage. Protect the platform: No scraping, spoofing, tampering, reverse engineering or circumvention of our security or geofence/OTP checks. Changes: We may update these Rules; the latest version on the App/website applies. Continued use means you agree to the updates. Law: Use must comply with Indian law, including consumer, data and excise rules.
  14. Intellectual Property

    Ownership: All content in Vauve Life Products and the App/website—including text, copy, images, photos, video, graphics, icons, code, databases/compilations, layouts and designs, the “look & feel”, and all Offer content— is protected by law. Vauve Life Private Limited owns these rights or uses them under licence.

    Trademarks: VAUVE LIFE, the VAUVE LIFE logo and other brand assets are trademarks/service marks of Vauve Life Private Limited. All other names and logos are the property of their respective owners. No rights are granted by implication.

    Your licence: We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the App and view Offers per these Rules.

    Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, translate, publish, distribute, scrape/data-mine, frame/mirror, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our content, nor remove copyright or trademark notices, without prior written permission.

    Third-party materials: Merchant images, menus and marks appear with permission and remain the property of their owners.
